West preempts 4H and when you balance with 4S, your partner puts you in six.
East doubles and west leads the 6C. Is there any possible distribution which
will allow you to make this contract?
*************************************
There are a number of possibilities. One line which I thought was the
cutest is to play west for 1-10-1-1 distribution with the 7S and a
diamond honor. Win the club. Cash a diamond. Ruff a heart. Endplay
west with the 7S. Ruff and sluff the heart return pitching a diamond.
Now ruffing finesse in diamonds against east for your club pitches. Enter
dummy with a spade to draw trump and continue pitching.

A more obscure chance as pointed out by Jeff Halle is to hope for the
same distribution, but throw west in with a heart(assuming
west cannot duck east's card). Now the line works as above.

Probably the most reasonable line was suggested by Jeff Halle. Cash a
spade, ruff a heart, lead a low diamond. Allow west to win any honor
if it pops up. Hope it is singleton and continue as before. Otherwise
finesse and play west for KQx. Notice west is also lost holding
KQ tight.
