C:6D. It's hard to say if partner is trying to imply a need for a club control
or showing club shortness. Hope for the best and bid slam.
C:6D. A double red suit fit with a black suit crossruff.
E:It must be nice to always have the sun shine on you.
R:By the way, it doesn't make unless they lead their AS.

C:pass. 8 card major suit trump fit. No reason to go past game.
R:in matchpoints, this would have been the winning call(lucky). However, with
the diamond suit agreed upon, partner is making a slam try with this 4H
call, not looking for a fit. Partner most likely is 5-3-4-1. With four
hearts, he would have bid them in preference to diamonds. And what will
you tell partner when he shows up with 5-1-4-3???

C:4NT. A forward going waiting bid. I have some stuff for you, please
continue. A spade void is not useful to show. 5H commits to slam. Hope
partner cues 5C. Otherwise play 5D.
R:Nice, if this is how partner takes it. I have a hard time convincing
partner that certain 4NT calls are not blackwood. They usually feel
relieved that I've taken control of the hand and that they no longer have to
make any more decisions. So they answer aces(or whatever variation we're
  playing).

C:4S. Hope partner doesn't tkae this as secondary spade support. Anyway, the
void isn't exactly an asset, but the KH sways me into taking some sort
of forward going action as opposed to signing off in 5D.
R:Well done cadomin!judy.
E:4S. I don't want to commit to slam by bidding 5H with no club control.
E:4S. I do not want to take a unilateral decision to go to slam with my
  8 count and spade void.
E:4S. Diamonds are irrevocably agreed upon. This cannot be secondary support.
R:its a confusing bid but a tough spot. Unfortunately partner gets excited
looking at a spade suit missing the Ace and a stiff club. Probably the
  best call though.

E:5D. I can't go to slam with my club weakness and 4S is too misleading.
4S is very ambiguous and I wouldn't risk it.

E:5H. Cue-bidding spades will cause problems. Slam seems fairly assured.
Cue-bid the KH in case partner is interested in seven.
