So, you ask how does one pick up 2270. Several people replied 4NT redoubled making seven which adds up correctly but wasn't the actual occurrance. What happened at our table was 1H redoubled making five. I held x-AJxxx-xx-AQxxx. I opened 1H. The auction proceeded dbl-rdbl-1D-director. I chose not to accept the bid though I was tempted in order to get my 2C call in. Anyway, the director went into a long spiel about all the options and penalties my RHO had. She was so flustered she finally passed barring partner from the auction. I decided I'll attempt to make 1H. I had no problem.
