On Saturday morning, July 7, Barry Crane was found bludgeoned to death
in the garage of his home in the Los Angeles area. His wallet and cadillac
were missing. At last report the police had no leads and no suspects.
He was the top masterpoint holder in the ACBL and the producer of such
TV shows as Dallas, Mannix and Mission Impossible.
We mourn the passing of one of the greats of the bridge world.
