S:KQx H:Q84 D:K92 C:Q754 S: H:AKJT753 D:A765 C:K3 South is in 6H after east preempts 3S and west raises. Opening lead is the 2S. Plan the play. ******************************************************************* Lets assume west has the AC and east has the AS. So play the KS and ruff when covered. Draw trump(two rounds). Play towards the QC. If west rises you now have two diamond pitches. If west ducks you pitch you're losing KC on the spade. Simple. Can anything go wrong? Yes. What if east ducks the KS? Now you are forced to make a pitch before you're ready. Down one. Is there any hope? Yes. Duck the first spade and ruff. Play the same way. Take the ruffing finesse later. You have plenty of entries to dummy including trump. I received correct answers from: houxm!hou2b!halle
