Sorry, but the song was called "Muskrat Ramble" and it was penned and first recorded by Texas singer/songwriter Willis Alan Ramsey. While other people did record top-40-ized crap versions of the tune, Ramsey's own laid-back rendition is a classic and doesn't deserve the insult of being mentioned in this discussion. ...Or is "Muskrat Ramble" an old Dixieland tune and "Muskrat Love" really the name of Willis Alan Ramsey's song? Ho hum. Won't be my first big goof on the net.
