Does anybody know anything about the "boot" that is incurred by holding down the START button when you power up? A number of commercially available software packages load their software this way. I am curious as to exactly what happens in this mode, where the loaded material ends up (is it always the same?) and where control is transferred following a successful load.... I guess this is just true of the cassette deck, now that I think about it. I don't have a disk drive (sob, choke...). Glenn Reid ...seismo!uwvax!reid
