Has anybody seen a terminal program for the atari that allows for 80 character displays ? What I am looking for is something that allows me to look at first 40 characters of a line, then when I move my cursor to the 41st position, the next character is scrolled in from the right of the screen. What would be real neat, is use my joystick to move the screen around ,like Eastern Front does, to look at text.

The Atari Program Exchange puts out a package called Chameleon. This program allows either a 40 or 80 column line, and if 80 columns is selected, uses horizontal fine scrolling under control of the START key. The program retails for about $22.50!, and is well worth looking into. If you can't get it from your local Atari dealer, you can mail order it directly from APX.
