Just heard on the news that Atari is closing up all US operations (or at least the division making video games and home computers) and moving to "the Orient" (== Japan?)!!! It seems 600 employees have been laid off, with the rest of its 1700 employees to follow. Wow! This could be cause for BIG problems, depending on the full story. Does anyone know more? Is it due to economic issues? What happens to SERVICE? PRICES? Please someone fill us in. Ken Newman Univ. of Toronto
