Has anybody tried to use a regular terminal on one of the RS-232 ports that come in the 850 com unit? Is there a special trick to it? vax135!orion!reha

I have connected a standard terminal to the ATARI 850 - it was straight forward, connect the data receive and transmit and ground to the right pins on the terminal and go. Some terminals may need a "data set ready" signal to unlock them. Jim Van Ornum
