On November 9, Ben Cutler posted to this newsgroup a terminal emulator written by Marshall Abrams (abrams at MITRE) received from the ARPAnet. The emulator was supposed to be in three files (ATERM. , ATERMPT2. , and ATERMHLP.TXT ), but the news item received here was missing ATERM. , the main program. Did anybody receive the ATERM. file in their copy of the news item or in followup communications? I sure would like to get a copy of it to try that terminal emulator on my ATARI 400!! I have had some experience with logging into Unix from my Atari 800 from home. The program I like the best of the 4 different one that I own is The Terminal Emulator from APX. It allows you to use either 40 or 80 column display by mapping the characters into a scroll mode. By hitting the shift and the START keys at the same time, when it is in 80 column mode, you can scroll the right-most characters onto the screen. Clancy Malloy AT&T Bell Labs
