Below is the index for the July 1984 issue of Antic magazine.  There
were a couple of interesting things contained in this issue.  I'll
comment on them in a seprate article.

		Anyone know anything about this software?  I don't find
		it listed anywhere.
16	CALL ME MODEM
		A look at bulletin boards with a listing of some that are
		of particular interest to Atari owners.
21	EVERYBODY NEEDS AMODEM
		This article contains version 4.2 of AMODEM, a public-
		domain terminal program.
25	ONLINE SERVICES
		A look at several telephone accessable services such as
		THE SOURCE, etc.
31	ACTION!
		This article discusses advanced programming techniques
		using the Action! language.
33	A VIRTUAL MIRACLE
		A look at MicroTelecom's virtual modem prototype.  They
		consider this to be a fourth generation modem.
36	PLATO RISING
		This article discusses the Plato Services Network and in
		particular the cartridge that Atari will be selling in
		the fourth quarter that will allow Atari to be the first
		home computer to act as a terminal for PLATO.  There is
		an interview with Vincent Wu, the designer of the soft-
		ware in the cartridge.  I hope they have the cartridge at
		CES next week.  I want to check it out.
45	ELECTRONIC NOTEBOOK
		This article discusses the transfer of date between
		"notebook" computers and Atari personal computers. An
		850 Interface is required.
49	THE SECRETS OF BASIC ANIMATION
		The conclusion of a two-part article on Player/Missile
		animation through BASIC.
54	RUN,ROBOT,RUN
		The fourth part of a series on articles that discuss
		experiments in practical robotics that can be performed
		with Atari computers.
60	TALK TO THE STARS
		Discusses receiving Morse Code, Radioteletype (RTTY) and
		ASCII via shortwave radio and using a radio modem to read
		it via your computer.
66	SPACED OUT NUMBERS
		Contains a RENUMBER program written by Jerry White and
		Fernando Herrera (of First Star fame) that allow you to
		renumber a BASIC program, including all references to
		line numbers in TRAP,GOTO,GOSUB, and RESTORE.  I haven't
		typed it in yet, but looks like an excellent program if
		you don't already have one.
69	STARSECTOR DEFENSE
		The game of the month is an arcade-style action game that
		requires BASIC and 16K RAM (Cassette) or 24K RAM (Disk).
81	CASSETTE LOOKALIKE--YOUR DISK DRIVE
		This ML program allows you to make your disk drive work
		like a cassette to test cassette software.
