There have been a couple of articles lately about TERMCAP entries for the ATARI. As Rob Bowtin stated, the TERMCAP entry is for a particular terminal, or in the case of an ATARI, for a particular terminal emulator program. The program I use most often is the 80-col terminal emulator for the ATR8000. (If you don't have an ATR8000, this is NOT APPLICABLE.) This program is supposed to emulate an ADM 3A, but there are some differences. The TERMCAP entry below works better than the standard 3a entry. I have also written an entry for the 40-col program, which actually has more features than the 80-col version (e.g., line and char insert and delete). It is also given below, but I think it may still have some bugs (with the standout mode???) -- I'm not sure, since I seldom use it. R.
