A friend of mine has an Atari 800XL and wishes to get a printer for it. There are many good printers out there that have Centronics interfaces as standard. What he needs is a good and hopefully inexpensive interface from his 800XL to a printer. Does anyone have any suggestions for an interface such as where he can get one, price, and reliability. I have heard many, many comments about different interfaces for the Atari line of computers, but none are as reliable or as supported as the Atari 850 Interface. They can be found through most mail order places for about $70. With one you can add both printers and modems. I have 4 computers (three at home and one at my office), and I have the 850 in both places. Anyone have a better idea? From inside the Tesseract of Clancy Malloy
