[ Will this go the way of the ... ] Hello all, I am an interested, but uninformed hopeful ST buyer, and I was wondering: 1- Will Atari be able to pull off this product: i- By the time they have promised. ii- At the price they promised. 2- How good or bad is GEM as an operating system, and/or as a development environment. I will post any really neat responses to these and any other comments I receive on this subject. Does anybody love anybody else? alan whitton

this is from the compuserve atari subgroup, where Antic magazine posts their latest news... The ST series is apparently on time, with small quantities available in April sometime, and full production in June. Early in March, Atari demoed production versions of the ST, so this may very well be true. Digital Research, in a separate news conference showed GEM running on the ST, the IBM PC, and various clones. Stay tuned. Mike
