*** EVEN IF HE IS FROM COMMODORE HE'S OK BY ME *** I spent last night at my local computer store playing with a brand new 130xe(the compatible one). It ran the Flight Simulator, Bounty Bob strikes Back, and the walking robot CES Demo with no problems. The dealer cost is around $127 so it should sell for around $170 or less. The documentation is relatively complete, and well written with a +++ for the fact that it has all the pinouts for the various ports, etc. (even the cartridge slot). According to an atari hardware buff, the extra 64k (this being a 128k machine) is addressed the same way as either the Mosaic or Axalon card is addressed (I can't remember which) so the Syn series should take advantage of the extra memory. Well, at least he got something out the door. ***Jay {inhp4|cbosgd}!osu-eddie!towslee
