re: ST, XE, and rogue
The 130 XE is out and available.
It looks nice, works fine, and has ramdisk software to use the
other 64k for convenience. The st is not out yet, but they do exist. I have
spoken to someone who has seen and touched it at a software developer's
place in the city. They paid $4800 for it. By the way, has anyone got
information about rogue for the atari? Did that fellow ever answer any queries
about his version.
	Thnx

XE's - I have seen a 130 XE at a local store, unfortunally it did not work.
I was told that the price will be around $150. Not bad! I have also
seen a 130 at a user's group meeting a couple of months ago. My only
complaint about it so far, I've only had a few minutes to play with
it, is the keyboard. It is not nearly as nice as my old 800's. It
feels like the keys have been placed over an IBM PC Jr. keyboard.
There is a definate rubbery or spongy feel to it.

Rogue - At the last user group meeting someone from EPYX showed up. He said
Rogue will be available soon, a couple of months, for the Ataris.
It is listed in their latest catalog.

Empire - EPYX is also working on Empire of the Ataris, the single player
version of the game. Apparently they are still playing around
with what 'options' to include. It sounds like it will be out
	 by late summer or later.

Ball Blazer and Recue on Fractales - EPYX has picked up these two games
written by Lucasfilms. Both are now available for Ataris and C64s.
I bought a copy of Ball Blazer and will get Fractels as soon as
I can. Go out and look at these games. They are some of the best
I have seen in quite a while.
