I having been having many problems with Antic Publishing. I have ordered several APX programs and the Syncalc Tax templete on diskettes from them - all have been defective. It has taken months, yes months, to get them replaced. The major problem is that I ordered Antic Magizine in November of 1984 and I still have not received one issue on time. After two phone calls two issues were sent a month late. Personally I find them incompetent. Am I the only one having problems with Antic?

I have had no problems with getting my ANTIC magazine on time but I have not ordered any of the APX programs or any of their other programs for that matter. I personally find ANALOG COMPUTING magazine a little better in most respects but I subscribe to ANTIC because another Engineer here gets ANALOG COMPUTING and I get to read them both. I have found that several of the games in ANTIC are excellent and would like to get the programs on disk but I'm too cheap to subscribe to the disk service. Can you describe the problem you have had with the disks? Sometimes disks that come through the mail get flattened slightly and it is easy to run the edge of the disk along a hard surface. I have not ordered any merchandise from Antic, but I do have a subscription which has arrived every month. My only complaint is that my subscription does not always arrive before the newstands get theirs, which is somewhat annoying. Mike
