for official rumors about the ST, ANTIC mag has reports from Comdex on Compuserve. If someone wants to D/L it , that would be nice, but its already floating around various BBSs. It doesn't really say anything we didn't know already except for a little bad news; that GEM may not come in ROM after all. This would be real bad, becuase of the supposed cap of 512K on memory, and GEM is a real memory hog, having been compiled. Stay tuned. Mike

What the hell will Atari do with spare ROM-place?. They have 6 places for roms (256kbit?) as we can see here on photos of the 520 ST in some computer magazines. Will Atari put BASIC or some other silly thing in it? I don't hope so. And for GEM experts: Isn't it possible to put the VDI of GEM into ROM?
