My thanks to those who replied with positive recommendations re. using the Print Shop package with the ATR8000. I called Broderbund again and they still believed it would not work, however I was assured that if I bought it direct from them they would refund on failure. (Incidentally I have so far always had good experiences with ordering software by mail.) Anyway I did order it, the Print Shop arrived in four days, works fine with the ATR8000 and does good stuff. Once again I feel bound to ackowledge the Broderbund technical support people for their uncomon honesty, if not their accuracy. Software specialist: "It's a hardware problem." Hardware specialist: "It's a software problem." Salesman: "There is no problem".
