[.............] Hi gang! I don't know if any of you out there noticed or not, but the May 1985 issue of Dr. Dobbs Journal had a very interesting solids-type graphics package for the C64. It was written primarily in 6502 machine code with hooks to Basic. It would appear that there are few machine dependencies of this package, and I am interested in converting it to run on the Atari. I contacted the author, who was only able to provide me a copy on a C64 diskette. Unfortunately, I only know 2 people who have C64's, one of them dosen't have any kind of standard interface such as RS232 etc., and although the other person has a modem, he knows very little about the associated programs and lives about 1 hr. away driving time. (plus the fact that I know relatively zip about the c64). I was wondering if anyone out there might be able to assist me in somehow converting the source files of this package to some form that I can deal with. I can make use of the following: 5 1/4" Atari 8" CP/M-80 5 1/4" IBM P.C. MacIntosh disks 9 track tape (for VAX) Modem (if you don't live to awfully far away, or have a suggestion that might minimize the phone bill) I am Hayes compatible (1200/300) Or, if you can download to UNIX, maybe you could post it to me, etc. If you need the C64 disk, I can mail it to you. Any of the above formats I can then convert to the Atari disk that I need to get the job done. The source is in about 7 relatively short files (couple of magazine pages max, in the Dr. Dobbs article), and conversion of the few short Basic files might also be useful, as the differences are not that great and the programs are short. If by some stroke of luck someone out there has already accomplished this feat (for the Atari that is), please let me know, it could save me a lot of headache if we could work something out. Send me mail if you have any suggestions, solutions, etc., and Thanks!!! Keith Doyle # {ucbvax,ihnp4,decvax}!trwrb!cadovax!keithd

Would like to get the C64 source, either to me or to net.sources. Anyone willing to send it?
