I am a member of the GCP staff and could not help but send this when I read the ANTIC TOC. The entry for us is not really correct. In article <20022@mgweed.UUCP> kek@mgweed.UUCP (Kit Kimes) writes: > October 1985 ANTIC Table of Contents > Theme: Mind Tools > >Page Article > >8 COMMUNICATIONS: GAMES COMPUTERS PLAY > A discussion of the Games Computers Play graphics > bulletin board and what is available there. Games Computers Play is not a graphics bulletin board. We are an online service with full screen graphics and multi-player games. We also offer email and easy communitions between people. Our graphics are not slow as most of them are stored on the users disk so that we don't have to download them. Also we use an error-dectection-retransmission protocol so that there are never any como errors in what you see. I had better stop or I will sound like a commerical, sorry if I allready do. Just wanted to let people know GCP is not just a BBS. Just one more thing GCP is currently ATARI only, i.e. we don't support any other machines. Gregory F. Hogg Games Computers Play, Inc. P.S. I am just visiting the machine that I am posting this on and it is in no way involed in GCP. You can send mail to me here as I logon once or twice a week.
