Having come across a short program which creates music using fractals, and
motivated by a program a friend found for generating speech-like sounds on
an IBM PC (and having heard an Apple II speak in the distant past), I'm
currently beginning to attempt to seek out the outer limits of sound
capability of the 8-bit Atari's. I'd like to know of any interesting
things you may have done, or may have considered doing but never quite
got around to, as a starting point for my investigations. Any programs,
algorithms, ideas, or whatnot that you may have lying around would be
much appreciated. Please respond by e-mail. I'll post a summary if
anyone is interested (and if anybody responds).
