Question : how many shades of gray does the 520 monochrome hi-res ST have?
Someone asked me this question (gray scale) and I have no idea.

My understanding of the number of gray scales was that there is only
one! (ie. either black or white) The tones that you see on the
various screens are done using dithering techniques.
If I'm wrong on that I too would like to know how many levels there
are and how to get them.
