[net.micro.atari] More on PC Itercomm

Well, I don't have to be as modest as the person from Mark Of the
Unicorn. PC-Intercomm is the finest terminal package I have used
on ANY micro-computer, and I use these programs on a day to
day basis. A 520ST coupled with a Prometheus Pro-modem (equipped with
options board) makes one of the most powerful communications
packages you can buy at any price. I have used IBM PC's with
all the popular comm programs and none of them comes near the power
or convience of PC-Intercomm. The nicest touch is the smooth
scrolling feature. To get that on an IBM you will have to spend
a lot of money for an EGA graphics adapter (probably more than the
cost of an entire 520ST system) and then you would have to wait
for some software company to write a comm program to support it.
Hats off to Mark of the Unicorn for taking an important step in
making the 520ST a serious contender in the micro market.

jump scroll, contrary to its name, is not supposed to make the whole screen
                                                               ^^^^^
jump, as it does on the PC!!!!
