Hi, I just bought the ST and I need some help. First, where can I get some documentation on GEMDOS. This seems to be very critical if you want to use the power and capabilities of the ST. I saw this question posted earlier to the net but I saw no response. Second, someone asked a while back if "scanf" was left out of HIPPO-C (Habba). I would like to find out if this is true for the current versions being sold. I bought it with my ST but I have to return it because I get a bad disk. I plan to program in C and I would like to be able to use all of its capabilites (plus the GEM functions). Please, if questions like these are posted, please post the answer to the net also. There have been many good questions posted but I have seen very few (or no) answers. You can flame me if you want because I am asking for responses on the net but it is better than constantly seeing "DRI agrees to change GEM" articles. re: scanf in Hippo-C for the ST You could try calling Hippo and asking them. Their number is listed in their advertisements in Macworld every month.
