The nice thing about Action! is that the basic system, everything you need, is right there in the cartridge. You don't fool with the disk in your edit,compile,test cycle. I'm pretty sure I bought the "toolkit" (or whatever it's called) and I don't think I ever needed it. Now a commercial. Action! is quite wonderful. If you use your 8 bit Atari for any sort of program development, even simple things you might ordinarily do in BASIC, you will be impressed by Action! In fact, when I compare it with the comparable tools for software development on UNIX, MS-DOS, VM/CMS, Mac/HIPPO; Action! continues to amaze me with its balance of simplicity, useability, and power. Really a great product. Now when will ST Action! be available? AXM
