I am looking for information on the file format used by Micro-Illustrator. I have the cartridge for my 800 that uses the PowerPad touch tablet as the input device, and also have the public-domain Paint! program that uses a joystick. I would like to be able to convert pictures from one format to the other and also do things like add text to the pictures, and do some kind of screen dump to printer program. The Paint! program seems to store in a straight forward screen dump format with some bytes for preserving the screen color registers tacked on. The Micro-Illustrator, however, must be using some kind of compression algorithm, as the file size varies with the amount of detail on the screen. Can anyone out in Netland provide the details of the format?
