Enough guessing as to what the prices will be! The "Scientific American" issue this month contains a full-page ad for the unbundled ST available from JS&A. It gives prices for the basic system unit, both monitors, and the disk drives. The TOTAL cost is about the same as the cost in computer stores, and a little greater than you can get now by mail order. This is about what I would expect from JS&A - you can normally do as well as they offer locally, and rather better if you try other mail-order outlets. The important fact is that this is the 520ST with the built-in RF converter, so you can use it with your own television. But the ad does state that you can use the Atari monitors with this version of the ST, so at least we now know that the RF converter is in addition to the direct monitor connection rather than a substitute.
