I have been trying to get some information from ATARI regarding some warranty service that they did for me (I am still waiting to get the &(*)(*&@#$ computer and monitor back via UPS. I tried in vain for two days to get through over the telephone using these two numbers: 1 - (408) 745-2000 745-4851 Both numbers were constantly busy, and after calling about 20 times at 15 minute intervals I quit in disgust and mailed them a letter. If I am ever have to call them again (God Forbid!) could any of you suggest some other numbers to call that one would have a nonzero probability of getting through on? The materials packaged with my recently-purchased Atari included the following phone number: (800) 538-8543. I hope it is less overloaded than the ones you mentioned; I haven't tried calling it. -John Sangster jhs at mitre-bedford.arpa

I called ATARI within the last several weeks on the 745-2000 number and had no trouble getting in. What I did though was call it at 7:30 A.M. Denver time which was 6:30 A.M. California time. But someone did answer and my request was handled correctly.
