Does anyone know if Atari will be providing an upgrade path for the current 520ST owners to an "official" 1040ST? I'm not sure I could do the piggy backing myself. Alternatively, does anyone recommend a shop which does the upgrade to 1 meg? The best I've seen wants $200 for the $50 of parts. Is this reasonable? Anyone interested in upgrading mine for less? --Dwight Mckay, ECN Software Support [mckay@purdue-ecn]

I think $200 is a fair price. It took me from 4:00PM to 1:00AM to upgrade and then another few hours nailing down loose ends (for example the mem controller worked loose and I had to open up the box and reseat the chip).
