In the March '85 Byte there is mention of a programming language that is C-like and runs on the Atari called 'Action!'. Unfortunately, it never mentioned who markets it. Does anyone in net-land know where I could find it? Eric Griswold {sun, pesnta}!parallel!eric

OSS (Optimized Software Systems) in California makes it. Also get their DOS-XL for the ATARI. These are the same guys that wrote ATARI BASIC.

I am thinking of writing some programs in ACTION! which require me to interface to the cartridge in a really weird way. Is it possible for an ACTION! program to invoke the compiler (i.e. instruct the cartridge to read in and compile a new file) possibly wiping out the first program ? Alan J. Broder ajb@mitre
