Has anyone out there actually been able to get their hands on a 1040ST yet? Our friendly neighborhood computer store has been saying they'll be in "next week" for about a month now and I'm starting to wonder if the 1040 is a figment of somebody's imagination..... -Sandra (loosemore@utah-20) -------

The latest thing I've heard is that there hasn't been a single 1040 sent over from Japan yet. When they do get here (about a week, I was told), they'll probably spend a week in Atari's QA department for testing and then be shipped. There will be only 4 (!) distributors for 1040s in the US. So the bottom line from my dealer is that it will be about three more weeks before I see my 1040. *sigh* Steve Wingard
