[net.micro.atari] PC/Intercom problem

While using PC/Intercom (V 3.03) sometime back, I noticed that
if the program freezes, all you have to do is hit the UNDO key and when
it asks, "Do you really wish to exit?", type "n" (so that it does not
exit). This usually fixes the problem and rebooting is not required. If
the problem is really severe, you may also need to choose the reset
option from the menu (after you have unlocked the program by hitting
the UNDO key etc.).

Also, I noticed that the copy-protection on this program makes
the drive go to track 2 or whatever and the drive makes a really scary
noise (at least mine does). Is this like the infamous destructive
"head-banging" that the C64's drives are made to do? I would appreciate
a comment on this from someone who knows what the inside of the 31/2
inch drive is like and what it does when it makes that grating noise.
(This noise has tempted me to "fix" the code...)
