I just talked to a friend of mine who got married recently. She cut her hair for the simple reason that she kept waking up with her hair caught under her husband. This was a bit of a shock to her and she doesn't want to have to wake him up numerous times in the middle of the night with requests to turn over. Therefore, being the logical being she is, she decided to get her hair styled shorter. -- The padded cell of Gene Spafford CSNet: Spaf @ GATech ARPA: Spaf.GATech @ UDel-Relay uucp: ...!{akgua, allegra, rlgvax, sb1, ut-ngp, ut-sally}!gatech!spaf

Not sure what the intent of this article was. However, as a male, who until recently had very long (ie. ~3 feet) hair, and having also lived with women having very long hair I feel compelled to point out that cutting one's hair is not the only solution to having one's hair slept upon. One merely tucks the hair under the pillow or places it over the end of the bed. End of silly compulsive comment. - Eryk
