By the way, there's a parody of "A Message to Garcia" (and other
works) in Veronica Geng's latest anthology.  In it President Reagan
climbs up a drainpipe and in a window to explain his "Message" to
a voter.

Yes, there are societies in which the people do everything as
well as they can.  But in those societies, nobody gives orders;
everything is decided jointly.
