The last two weeks it seems like 90% of the articles deal with the Dead. Its almost as if they're worshiped. Does anyone dislike the Dead? I'll be the first to admit that I do. Now before you Dead Heads crucify me, I must say that I am not complaining about the large number of articles pertaining to the Dead (I know how to use my "N" key). I just want to hear something about some other bands. Did anyone check out Deep Purple on their return tour? Do you know Jimmy Page is back on the road? Has anyone seen the Firm? Dakes I noticed plenty of articles recently on dirge music (Joy Division, Cure, Banshees, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, etc.), several articles on the Smiths and the Fall, a few articles on Kate Bush, several requests for info from yours truly, ... If none of these artists are what you had in mind, then I suggest you post some articles about artists that you like, since the net is a participatory medium (cf. television), and the readership gets out of it what it puts into it (as even the deadheads are learning). -- "Discipline is never an end in itself, only a means to an end."
