Speaking of right-handed desks: the University of Maryland has a number of left-handed desks in some classrooms (notably the large Physics lecture hall), of which I approve. There are, however, far too few of these available in general. It seems that the administration thinks lefties make up about .5% of the population. Grr. I think maybe the lefties appreciated the desks so much they didn't get broken as frequently, or maybe they were all identical twins. There were a couple of classrooms with 50% lefty desks, most notably in the music dept. -- Peter (Made in Australia) da Silva UUCP: ...!shell!neuro1!{hyd-ptd,baylor,datafac}!peter MCI: PDASILVA; CIS: 70216,1076
