Some time ago, there was a disucssion about what to do about the
metal-heads next door with the super-big stereo and the
super-little consideration.

Solution has been found to this problem, but will not post.  Send e-mail
and promise of confidentiality and you will receive the solution.

I don't understand. Send E-mail for THE solution!! First, I think the
solution should be posted to the net and secondly, there is no 1 correct,
better than all solutions. THE solution depends primarily on the individual
that is involved.
