Well, it`s a shame to see the NFL not learn a lesson. Look at what the baseball strike settlement did. The best team in the league the Reds, don`t get in. They didn`t even get a dinner (sorry, Red Buttons). The NBA allowed an at best mediocre Houston team get to the finals 2 years ago. Thank goodness they lost. Pete Rozell should have learned from these mistakes. BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Letting 8 of 13 teams/conference in the Playoff pool practically assures us of seeing < .500 teams have a shot at THE BOWL!! My gosh, the Bears have a chance. It was bad enough when they went from 1 to 2 wild-cards, but this is silly. I`ll probably watch the games Sunday & Monday, but I really don`t care as much anymore.
