I have noticed a definite lack of recognition being given to one of the up-and-coming football powerhouses in the NCAA. The team to which I refer is, of course, the UVA Wahoos. Most recently known for its dominance of college basketball (send flames, please) and the presence of one Ralph Sampson, this fine institution is now turning its sights to, dare I say it, the football national championship (since they didn't win it in basketball). You may not believe it, but people "in the know" are picking them to win it all this year. Until now, this has been a much guarded secret, as the powers-that-be in the NCAA have conspired to relegate UVA to a position of virtual obscurity. Not being an expert in such things, I don't really know what is is that this year's team has that previous teams didn't. I will, however, go out on a limb and predict that UVA will finish in the Top Twenty this year. Watch out Carolina!! David Knill (The Mad Prognosticator) ...!seismo!rlgvax!cvl!umcp-cs!aplvax
