Well, well, well. Michigan is ranked number 8 in one poll and Washington is number 16. If you notice the odds are Washington by 4 or 3 1/2 !! I read the reason, and they say that they looked unimpressive against Washington State last week and they are still missing their starting QB (Michigan that is). On the other hand they say Washington looked impressive against Northwestern despite the act that played without the help of Jacques Robinson, the PAC-10s leading rusher last year. If Michigan looked unimpressive why move them up in the rankings? or even leave them where they are? Of course, the odds-makers are not the same as the pollsters, but I fail to see how the pollsters can say they 'played well enough' to go up when it was obvious they didn't!! Then again, maybe they think highly of Washington State. You see Arizona (#7) as a 7 point favorite over the fighting Cougars of Washington State, well watch for an upset. This game features a showdown of the sizzling offense of Arizona against the traditionally offensively oriented Cougs. The Wildcats feature QB Tunnecliff (sp?) who is considered one of the best of the crop this year, against the nations number one high school QB of three years ago, playing out his second year of eligibility, Mark Rypien!! GO HUSKIES!!!!!! GO COUGS!!!!!! GO SEAHAWKS!!!!!! P. Vasudev
