The University of Virginia won again on Saturday and now has a 4-0 record. Not bad for a team that usually struggles to win two or three games a year. As a Maryland fan, however, I hope that next week Virginia will be 4-1. Also, last week there were many comments about Nebraska running up the score. How about North Carolina inflating their win record by playing division I-AA schools like William and Mary? Since W&M is my alma mater, I know that they (W&M) were only doing it for the money they get from the gate, but how good is North Carolina? Should they really be ranked #5 or whatever? Beth Katz

UNC has a very good team. Unfortunately, because of their '83 schedule, there is no way for them to prove it unless they play against a very good team in a bowl game. It's my understanding that football schedules are decided five to ten years in advance. UNC wasn't a national power (!) back then (except in basketball) and I think that's why their schedule is so easy. Go TARHEELS! Wally D.
