Most college (and pro) football teams have jerseys with only
player numbers on the front. On the back, some have numbers
and some have numbers with player names.
There are a few teams which put the school or team nickname
on the front of the jersey above the number. My recollections
are:
Houston puts "Houston" on the front
Oklahoma puts "Sooners" on the front
Michigan St. puts either "Spartans" or "Michigan State" ...
San Jose St. puts "San Jose State" ...
North Texas St. puts "Mean Green" ...
not too sure on that last one.
Perhaps, with the help of all of you out there in Net-land,
we can gather a good list. Please, do not clutter the net with
these things - send mail to me and I'll post the list later.
