[net.sport.football] NFL piks for week 6...

rcj1@ihuxi.UUCP (10/04/83)

	After going 8-6, here's week 6...

Minn. at Chi. - If anything, Chi must beat their own division. Bears -1
Wash at St.L - Match the best offense with worst defense = Skins by 10
Den. at Hou. - A real yawner. Oilers win first game by 3
Jets at Clev - Jets on the move. N.Y. -3
G.B. at Det. - Det. played Rams tough on road. Lions upset Pack by 3.
N.O. at Atl. - Hmmmm. Go with Atl. by 2 (no particular reason)
Buf. at Mia. - Shula burning after loss to Saints. Miami by 7.
N.E. at Balt - A fired up Colt team by 3.
Sea. at S.D. - Over 40 on this one. Chargers by 4..
K.C. at Raid - After disheartning(sp?) loss to Wash, the Raiders
take it out on the Chiefs. L.A. -13
Rams at S.F. - Could be division deciding game. 49'ers by 3
T.B. at Dall - Dallas will not come from behind on this one, but
			win it convincingly by 14.
Phil at Gia. - A solid rushing game coupled with strong "D" enable
			N.Y. by 7
Pitt at Cinn - Cincy must make a move *NOW*. Bengals by 3.

With more then 1/4 of the season over, I'd expect to see Dall on top
in the NFC East with the Skins in close pursuit, but over in the
Central, who would expect Tampa Bay at 0-5? Was Williams that
indispensible? In the West, are the 49'ers back to stay? Or will
Ferragamo have something to do about that?...
How about that AFC East? The Jets at 2-2 were pre-season piks
to go all the way to the big one!! Could Baltimore be the next
surprise? The Bengals were favorites to win the Central, but
	will the Steelers prevail??
The Seahawks appear legitimate contenders in the West, but
what of the suprise filled Raiders???

Stay tuned to these local stations for further details....
