FOOTBALL IS GREAT! It is certainly better than the typical garbage that is on TV. After all, what would you rather see: Three's Company or Monday Night Football? Need I ask? Most TV programming is ridiculous with actors and actresses playing the parts of typically infantile characters or people that do not exist. I like reality and the game of football smells of it. (Admittedly, the Bears smell but that is part of reality.) I don't think I would pay to watch on TV 'cause I'm cheap. You know, my wife used to hate watching football , basketball, etc. But after seeing a few games (particularly the NCAA basketball playoffs), she watches sports more than I do. If she could learn to like football, anyone can. Football is part of the essence of the American Way of Life. Our shrine is in Canton, Ohio. How dare you attack the thread that makes the fabric of society! You threw the gauntlet down; now pick it up and go to net.tv or net.flame, you anti-football fanatic! A football fan, Scott Pector P.S. or shall I say 'extra point'?: I am not really fanatical but to hate football because you like rotten TV shows is absurd.
