. Does anyone out there in netland know the order of the tiebreakers for divsional and wildcard playoff spots? Are there differences depending on how many teams are tied? Also, how often has it come down to net points since this system has went into effect? Thanks in advance, Dave Claus ATT-CP Indy

Yes, I believe in 1979(+or-1) and I think the Redskins were the victims.
One NFC team beat another by something like 41-6 during the last week of
the season, pushing that team into the playoffs. (For some reason, the
Cards and the Bears come to mind, but I don't have a sports book in
front of me.) I hope I've given enough info for the trivians to
complete.
