The top 20 College Football Teams in the country as picked by Sport Magazine. 1. Arizona State (????) 2. Florida 3. Texas 4. Ohio State 5. Michigan 6. Notre Dame 7. Clemson 8. Oklahoma 9. UCLA 10. Texas A&M 11. Tennessee (would have been #1 if Cockrell hadn't left to play baseball) 12. Auburn 13. Penn State 14. Georgia 15. Nebraska 16. SMU 17. Washington 18. Alabama 19. Pittsburgh 20. BYU The writer goes on to say that he expects Ohio State vs. Arizona State in the Rose Bowl. Ohio State will be ranked #2 behind ASU and the Rose Bowl will be the championship game. SPORT magazine is also the people that said Tennessee was going to be number 1 last year, and they didn't even finish in the top 20. SPORT magazine's predictions don't seem to hold any water.
