Results from the latest weekend in the CFL:

B.C. 34 Edmonton 32

It looked like a duel of quarterbacks, but in the end
it was the kickers who had the showdown. Roy Dewalt of
B.C. completed 29 of 49 passes for 479 yards and 4 TDs,
while Matt Dunigan of Edmonton was 23 of 39 for 399 yards
and one TD. But, it was Lui Passaglia who put B.C. ahead
on a 54-yard field goal with less than a minute to go,
then Dave Cutler tried a 45-yard field goal for Edmonton with
8 seconds left, and only came away with a rouge. (single)

DB Harry Skipper of Montreal intercepted 3 Greg Vavra
passes, returning one 69 yards for a TD to lead Montreal
to its third win in a row. Don Sweet also added
four field goals.
Calgary didn't score until the fourth quarter,
when replacement QB Bernard Quarles threw 2 TD passes.

in the league to a single point in the second half.
