[] CFL results for Oct. 27-28, the final weekend. Hamilton 25 Toronto 20 Hamilton running back Johnny Shepherd ran 13 yards for a TD with 1:42 left to win the game. Toronto's Hank Ilesic kicked 8 pts. giving him 159 this season and an Eastern Division scoring record. The win for Hamilton gave them 2nd place in the East. B.C. 20 Winnipeg 3 The B.C. defense forced 6 turnovers, including 4 interceptions, and held Winnipeg running back Willard Reaves, who had 8 consecutive 100-yard games coming into this game, to 33 yards on 12 carries. The win gave B.C. first place in the West and the best record in the CFL this year. Montreal 29 Ottawa 24 Montreal running back Dwaine Wilson ran in from one yard to score the winning TD with 2:49 left. Ottawa will miss the play-offs for the first time in 14 years. Edmonton 52 Saskatchewan 7 Brian Kelly caught 2 TD passes, giving him 18 on the season, a new CFL record, as Edmonton rolled over Saskatchewan in preparation for the play-offs.
